- Better Remote Desktop (RDP) detection: failed logins whose IP is missing from the Security log are now picked up from the Remote Desktop log (RdpCoreTS event 140).
- A failure recorded in both logs is counted once.

What changed in each LogonShield version. From 1.3.0 the program installs new versions automatically.

- Automatic updates: new versions are downloaded and installed. Only files matching information signed by logonshield.com and its SHA-256 are installed.
- Turn it off in Settings > General, or check and install manually in Settings > About.
- The dashboard always shows the trial days left.

- License activation: every install gets a 30-day full trial; enter a license key to keep using it.
